Managing the compliance and certification audit programme
is the most most critical stage. ParkinsonHowe will assist in the scheduling of these
audits in the following ways. Compliance Review A combined Document Review and Implementation Review (Combined) Firstly we will check and review your documented systems to ensure they meet the requirements of the standard. The main areas of the ISMS system will be reviewed, and areas needed to be addressed highlighted. Pre-Certification Audit Following an opening meeting with senior management to explain the conduct and reporting of the audit. Our approach would be to cover the documented system and working practices by interviewing staff and sampling records. Our approach would be to undertake focused audits on the key operations and functions, with vertical audit trails being established which will commence at strategic level and be followed up and down the organisation as appropriate. The audit findings are highlighted during the audit and presented at a closing meeting. Where the system does not meet the requirements, an issue and recommendation will be raised in a report. Certification - Stage 1 We will assist your organisation in providing a focused audit for stage 1 by assisting in the preparation of documentation and management input. On completion of this stage by the certification body, we will review the findings and recommend responses to the findings. Certification - Stage 2 For the stage 2 audit, we will assist in preparing management and staff for the stage 2 audit. On completion of this stage, we will again review the findings and recommend responses. Once this stage has been completed, we will continue to monitor an organisations progress with the standard. |
